Keyban Raises Funding to Accelerate Its Infrastructure for Agentic Commerce

Digital Product Passport (DPP), blockchain-based loyalty and Agent Wallet combined to power AI-driven commerce and agent transactions.

PARIS, FR / ACCESS Newswire / March 17, 2026 / Keyban announced today a €500,000 pre-seed funding round raised from its existing shareholders to accelerate the commercial deployment of its infrastructure for Agentic Commerce in 2026 and 2027. The company is building a blockchain platform that enables brands and retailers to make their products, services and loyalty programs directly accessible to AI agents. The platform is already available via API and will be offered as a SaaS solution with dedicated plugins for major commerce platforms starting next quarter.

Brands currently face a dual challenge: complying with new European Digital Product Passport (DPP) regulations while adapting to the rapid emergence of AI agents capable of searching, comparing and purchasing products on behalf of users. In this new environment, trusted product data becomes a strategic asset. Keyban's infrastructure enables brands to transform product data into verifiable digital assets that can support new services and revenue streams.

Certify product data to use it into new services

The Digital Product Passport (DPP) certifies product data such as origin, specifications and lifecycle information, ensuring its integrity over time. Beyond regulatory compliance, this data will help to enable services throughout the product lifecycle, including extended warranties, resale programs, premium services and usage-based offers.

The DPP also creates a direct relationship between a product and its owner at every stage of the product lifecycle, including second- or third-hand owners. Rights, warranties and loyalty benefits become traceable and verifiable, even for product users who are currently unknown to brands and retailers.

This enables brands to engage every product holder and unlock new loyalty and acquisition opportunities based on real product usage rather than relying solely on personal data.

Preparing for the agent economy

The emergence of agentic commerce, where AI agents can search, compare and purchase products on behalf of users or companies, raises a new question for brands: what information will these agents rely on to make their decisions? And how will they recognize services associated with a product, such as warranties or loyalty programs?

In this new environment, reliable and structured product data becomes decisive in the purchasing decision. AI agents prioritize sources that provide rich and verifiable information. By combining the Digital Product Passport, detailed product data and the services associated with it on the blockchain, brands can structure this information throughout the entire lifecycle of a product. By integrating emerging Agentic Commerce protocols, Keyban makes this data verifiable and directly usable by AI systems.

But for an agent to truly act on behalf of a user or a company, three conditions must be met: it must know who it is interacting with, be able to execute a transaction, and comply with predefined spending and authorization rules, particularly within corporate spending policies.

Keyban introduces the Agent Wallet to address this need: a programmable wallet that allows AI agents to make payments, subscribe to services or activate loyalty benefits. This approach enables agents to operate autonomously while ensuring that transactions remain governed by defined rules. Brands that start structuring their product data today are preparing for a new form of commerce where agents, platforms and businesses can interact directly while maintaining control over the information, services and financial flows associated with their products.

Charles Kremer, Founder of Keyban, said: "Commerce is entering a new era where AI agents will search, compare and purchase products on behalf of individuals, but also increasingly for enterprises. By certifying product data, making loyalty programmable and introducing the Agent Wallet architecture, we enable brands and companies to structure an economy where these interactions will be largely automated."
