Pabau Launches Agent Workforce: AI Employees for Medical Practices

Pabau, the practice management platform used by 3,500+ practices, today announced Pabau Agent Workforce, a new kind of AI hire for medical and aesthetic practices.

Practices hire agents by role, with a choice of four agents:

• An AI Receptionist that can book, reschedule or cancel appointments live on a call, answers out-of-hours calls, texts back missed callers, invites no-shows to rebook and sends aftercare instructions
• An AI Finance Specialist that watches the sales ledger, and follows up on unpaid or part-paid invoices with the exact amount owed and a secure pay-by-link
• An AI Marketeer that reviews the website daily, checks how the practice appears in AI assistants like ChatGPT, replies to reviews and wins back lapsed patients
• An AI Sales Specialist that re-engages leads marked as lost and hands hot replies to the practice's team

Hiring takes about five minutes: The practice picks a role for the agent, assigns it contact information, and gives it a name and a face patients will see. Because the agents read the data already inside Pabau's HIPAA-compliant environment, there are no integrations to build.

Approval-first agentic workflows

Every agent starts in training, where each action is drafted for the practice's approval before anything reaches a patient. Practices coach agents by rejecting drafts with notes and grant autonomy one skill at a time.

At launch, 41 skills ship across the team and can be switched on individually, with new skills arriving regularly. There are 19 skills that never work unattended, none can edit patient records automatically, and every action is logged and scored against the practice's records.
