-- QUBYX has announced the release of QubyxViewer, an open source, Qt-based color management viewer designed for color scientists, display engineers, and post-production professionals. The application enables inspection, validation, and preview of ICC profiles and 3D LUTs across single and multi-display environments.
QubyxViewer is developed to support precise ICC profile handling, built-in 3D LUT generation, and real-time preview. It accommodates common profile and LUT formats, offers display enumeration and metadata inspection, and provides diagnostic data useful for calibration and quality assurance processes.
The modular Qt application has been created for both end users and developers, with flexibility for integration into larger color pipelines. It supports cross-platform compatibility with Qt 5.15 and Qt 6. The source code is available on GitHub under the GPL v3 license.
Key functionality includes ICC/ICM profile application and inspection, 3DLUT generation and export, image and test pattern previews with applied color transforms, and multi-display testing tools. Example files and test media are included to assist in validation workflows.
